HEMUS AIR was established in 1991 as the second state aviation company in Bulgaria. In 2001 it was bought by CHIMIMPORT and became a private company. HEMUS AIR Jsc is a member of IATA, MITA, IATA Clearing House.
Its fleet consists of 1 Boeing 737-400 (168 seats), 3 BAe-146-200 (90 seats) and 2 ATR 42-300 (48 seats). After 1st of May 2006 our fleet will increase with two B 737-300 (148 seats), 3 Bae 146-300 (110 seats) and 1 Bae 146-300 (100 seats).The maintenance of all aircraft is done at our own maintenance base at Sofia Airport. “Hemus Air” Jsc is a licensed handling agent and operates scheduled and charter flights.
Regular flights are available to the following destinations: Athens – every day, Beirut – 1 flight per week, Bucurest – 5 flights per week, Cologne – 4 flights per week, Dubai – 1 flight per week, Larnaca – 3 flights per week, Oslo – 1 flight per week, Tirana – 2 flights per week, Tripoli – 1 flight per week, London – 4 flights per week, Berlin – 2 flights per week and Vienna – 4 flights per week, with representatives in most towns. The internal flights include Varna – every day and Burgas – 1 flight per week.
